Jury Awards: KIFF is proud to present Jury Awards for the best Social Justice Documentary and the Best Feature Narrative Film. The five award finalists in each category are listed in the festival program, and winners will be announced at the Filmmaker Recognition Brunch on Sunday, October 3rd at 10:30 a.m.
Audience Awards: Audience participation at its best. Audience members vote on their favorite Narrative and Documentary Films. Winners, which are announced at the Closing Night Party on Thursday, Oct. 6th at 9:15 p.m., will receive a theatrical run for their films.

Opening night Thursday, Sept. 30, 7:45 pm: Manhattan Short Film Festival—An extraordinary global event takes place the week of September 25th to October 2nd, 2011, when over 100,000 people in over 250 cities across six continents gather in Cinemas, Galleries, Universities, Museums and Cafes for one purpose: to view and vote on Finalists' Films in the Annual Manhattan Short Film Festival.
Friday, October 1 and Saturday October 2, 10:00 pm: Filmmakers Welcome Parties: McCoy's Pub in Historic Westport. Festival pass holders are welcome to join the conversation. Refreshments will be served.
Sunday, October 3, 10:30 am: Filmmaker Recognition brunch in the Lobby of the Glenwood Arts Theater. An opportunity to introduce and honor all the fimmakers featured in the festival, we will also be announcing the winners of the Jury Awards at this event.
Thursday, Oct. 6th, 9:15 pm: Closing night party will begin immediately following the last film, refreshments and entertainment will be provided. Festival Audience award winners will be announced.
