A dark comedy based on true events, Postal re-imagines the emotional meltdown of Philip Tress, a Jacksonville millennial described by local media as “unable to break from a psychotic, unrequited love affair." Phil's downfall gained notoriety as his breakdown was documented by multiple recordings of calls Phillip made to a customer service agent at an international shipping company. Bronco brings us into the heart and mind of Phillip Tress on the morning his downward spiral began. https://www.kansasfilm.com/artists/postal/

Filmmakers are the heartbeat of the Kansas International Film Festival.

Cultivating careers is central to our core values and vision. KIFF supports early-career film artists as well as more well- known artists in the film industry. Accomplished and legendary auteurs have visited our fest. We’ve welcomed actor and activist, Ed Asner, horror icon George Romero, and special effects wizard Tom Savini. Experimental filmmakers Guy Maddin, Barbara Hammer, and Stan Brakhage, have graced our stages while liminaries like Debra Zimmerman, executive director of Women Make Movies have joined us. Many others from Scott Biao to Forest Akerman have stayed with us and many more will come. There is, of course, one we could never do without... you!
